Position Overview
Our cleaning maintenance division has experienced significant growth and is currently seeking a highly motivated, Scheduling Coordinator. The person in this role will be responsible for effectively coordinating scheduled, phoned in, and emergency service calls with the field service team. The individual must exceed expectations of both internal and external customers through effective communication and execution of job tasks. The individual will work with service manager to provide department statistics and field progress, understand and identify customer needs, and be part of the team that provides solutions for current and emerging needs and quality process improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Execute field service technician’s parts requests for repairs and inventory.
- Receive inbound deliveries/orders and reconcile to purchase orders.
- Provide oversight for procurement of needed materials and supplies.
- Manage Van inventory to expected levels.
- Receive inbound calls and emails for service and dispatch appropriate technical representative.
- Provide field technicians and customers with parts support/look-up.
- Prepare, package, and ship field and customer related orders.
- Provide effective follow up and closure to customer, sales, and field technicians to insure jobs are completed satisfactorily and on time.
- Process customer billing for service center.
- Insure all call are effectively entered in ERS system.
- Schedule Installation of chemical dispensing systems at customer locations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Two to three years’ experience in dispatch coordination, customer service, and light repair and installation work in a high volume faced paced environment and a technical or related industry.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), organization skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multi-task through job completion.
- Ability to understand equipment schematics and identify parts.
- Customer focus and a “can-do” attitude.
- A team first mentality.
- Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Certification, degree, or diploma from accredited technical or trade school is a plus.
