In this newly created role, the SAP FICO Lead will report directly to the CFO of ifm efector, inc. (USA) with international responsibilities. This role is part of the Global Finance Hub Structure and you will use your passion for operational & system excellence to build upon our developed and maintained roll-out and support processes in SAP FI. Additionally, you will lead the gathering of business requirements, process analysis, solutions design, system configuration and support across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced global environment.

This role will work closely with the business users & project resources to meet required objectives and provide hands on experience for implementing “best practice” processes in the FI module of SAP.

What You’ll Do

• Work as a team member on SAP country rollouts, including blue-prints, templates, conception, documentation, translation, user training, and go-live support, as a key-user SAP Finance
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute SAP Finance trainings
• Coordinate and administer all finance specific topics and projects as a central member of the SAP Finance competence team
• Process technical SAP finance inquiries, questions, problems, legal requirements, and troubleshooting (service tickets) from all domestic and foreign entities
• Further develop SAP FI processes in coordination with domestic and international FI key users
• Coordinate and execute global release tests for the SAP finance module
• Maintain contacts with domestic and foreign key users, IT colleagues, and consultants
• Develop strategic initiatives for continuous improvement in process and systems driving automation solutions to increase efficiency

What you Have

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in collaborative Accounting/Finance environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience in SAP R/3; Project experience required; implementation experience preferred

Travel: Willing to travel internationally 30-35 days per year
