ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Cleaning and sanitizing production areas
• Dispose of waste along the assembly line
• Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces following proper company and GMP standards
• Report potential issues to management
• Assist the 3rd part cleaning company and crew as needed to ensure the timely release of production areas to operations
• Sweep and mop floors
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
• Work with sharp knives or other cutting tools
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives
• Slipper floors, cold temperatures and low ambient noise
• Ability to work 50+ hours per week
• Good attendance and safety records
• LIFTING/ PUSHING/PULLING – 10 lbs. -50 lbs. production
• NEUTRAL WRIST- Repetitive hand motions and grasping.
• STANDING – Constant standing for 8 to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week
