RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Salesforce Product Owner. This person must be based in Fairfield, Iowa or Phoenix, Arizona.
Key Tasks:
- Articulate product requirements in collaboration with development team, sponsors and stakeholders utilizing an understanding of user and customer needs along with business goals
- Work with development team to support daily planning, review, and subject matter expertise
- Support the selection of project and initiative resources
- Document project requirements
- Facilitate requirement visioning sessions, working with teams as required and prioritizing feature list; Product road mapping to include feature maps, user stories, design sketches, etc.
- Complete impact analysis (supporting cost/benefit analysis), focus on maximizing return on investment (ROI)
- Provide timely information and reporting key decisions to technology management
- As a Salesforce Product Owner, you will attend backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospective meetings; Working with Scrum Masters to select amount of work the team believes it can do in each sprint and how many sprints are required
- Work with business stakeholders to define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics
- Prepare and attend milestone reviews to key stakeholders
- Release planning and coordinating product launch
- Perform above product owner practices at an advanced level in a self-directed and mostly self-sufficient manner in collaboration with other Product Owners and Senior Product Owners
- Professional or educational experience required in the following: project management; Business process analysis; Requirements analysis and documentations
- Experience or certification in Salesforce
- Experience with business rules analysis and documentation
- Experience desired in agile software development methods; Broker-dealer industry; Knowledge in software development technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
