Position Title: Sales Support Representative

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Tufenkian Dallas Texas

Position Summary: As a member of the Tufenkian Carpets Customer Service team, you are the primary contact for all service-related matters and focal point for resolution of all customer service-related problems. We look to you to establish strong relationships with dealers, showrooms, help to grow sales, support customers, ECOM and Regional Sales Manager in the operational and merchandise management of their accounts. You may have individual responsibility for select accounts as well.

Sales Support Role:

• Obtain and place orders from Tufenkian showrooms, Tufenkian.com, wholesale dealers and Regional sales

Managers.

• Provide general information – product availability, billing, delivery times, fiber content, cleaning instructions, domestic and international shipping quotes, etc.
• Interact with other departments in the Company to ensure all aspects of sales support and customer service are fulfilled.
• Prepare quotes for custom rugs (re-size, re-color)
• Inventory management -- Analyze inventory to ensure customer’s merchandise assortment is aligned with

Tufenkian best sellers on a national and local level, suggest alternates (size and/or design) and coordinates.

• Manage consignment inventory & billing.
• Letting customers know about additional products or services.
• Escalating queries and concerns.
• Troubleshooting common issue with product or service.
• Run reports and understand them

Desired skills and qualities:

• Strong phone presence, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Must have minimum of 3 years office setting customer service experience
• Ability to establish strong relationships with Tufenkian sales teams
• Adept at merchandising and product knowledge
• Strong inside account management skills
• Sales-oriented person with sales experience
• Strong listening and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented with superior follow-up skills
• Time-management skills
• Follow directions well, willingness to ask questions if unsure of task required
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Computer knowledge of MS Windows; intermediate Excel user, Word.
• Will meet with and support the showroom manager with walk in clients at the Dallas Showroom location.

Compensation: Base Salary /Commission, Full Benefits, Holidays etc.
