Pay Rate:
This position is heavily weighted in variable compensation. Total cash compensation (based + incentive) typically ranges between $75,000 and $95,000 annually, with the potential to earn more in incentive pay based on the successful completion of or exceeding sales goals.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Responsible for professionally and effectively representing NAC in the packaging marketplace. This requires successful management of a sales territory by developing and fostering sound customer relationships.
• Examine and evaluate a customer's packaging needs and then offer recommendations to fulfill those needs while striving to meet the directives established by regional and plant management.
• Profitably grow the business with priority strategic (high transactional to consultative mix) accounts by developing and successfully implementing Key Account Plans.
• Enable profitable decision-making through demonstrated knowledge of; general business principles, internal financial management and industry business practices.
• Identify and implement Value Propositions with priority customers through knowledge and application of IP corporate/business capabilities and resources.
• Create IP advantage through continuous evaluation of market conditions, competitive environment and opportunities for innovation.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• High School Diploma/GED Required. BA/BS in related field a plus
• 5+ years of experience in industrial sales required; packaging, paper products, or related industries strongly preferred
• Must be very familiar with the local area, including Kansas City or Central/Western Missouri
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint, as well as CRM tools is required
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus
