Job Description Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY: Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals within a geographic sales territory through strong knowledge of ASG products, processes, and relationships. Provides value-added services through a strong knowledge of InstantBingo Tickets, the Ohio Bingo licensing process (including the licensing application and renewal processes), State licensing application system (COIN), and ASG processes. Manages complex, multi-faceted relationships and facilitates bringing all parts of the sales process together to support ASG model. Owns the sales process and all relationships involved from cold calling to ensuring continued sales and customer satisfaction of charities, locations, and vendors. Keeps abreast of industry regulations and market trends and provides feedback to management. Accomplishes goals in accordance with company policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals within a geographic sales territory through strong knowledge of ASG products, processes, and relationships. Develops and expands new business through communicating ASG’s value and managing complex, multifaceted charity/location/vendor/partner relationships. Builds and maintains strong relationships and ensures high location retention and order rates by providing ongoing and excellent customer service.

  • Strategically identifies new and existing ASG locations and grows sales through cold calling, referrals, and presenting new products to current customer base. Increases sales through the use of all available sales tools, products and resources.

Identifies potential leads for additional opportunities and prepares and meets with customers as necessary. Prepares periodic account reviews, territory analysis, and sales plans for discussion with Manager. Follow-up on potential leads in a timely manner.

  • Provides value-added services through a strong knowledge of Instant Bingo Tickets, the Ohio Bingo licensing process.

(Including the licensing application and renewal processes), State licensing application system (COIN), and ASG processes. Works and communicates separately with charities, locations, and vendors and provides guidance in completing their parts of the licensing and ASG processes and coordinates, facilitates, follows-up, and ensures all parts of the process come together in a timely manner. Provides direction to charities on how to obtain/renew a license and provides Notary services as needed. Obtains location license from charity and manages the process of educating locations and securing first order; delivers license to location, ensures location understands the process of requesting tickets, CPT website, submitting reimbursement requests, and how to promote instant tickets. Provides promotional items to locations. Owns the sales process and all relationships involved from cold calling to ensuring continued sales and customer satisfaction of charities, locations, and vendors.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships and ensures high location retention and order rates by providing ongoing excellent customer service. Anticipates customer needs and responds to and resolves customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Escalates unresolved problems and/or issues to manager immediately.

  • Delivers and installs ticket machines for locations. Performs routine maintenance and repair on machines as needed.

Contacts ASG technical resources for more complex maintenance and repair issues.

  • Uses all available tools and resources to perform job duties, increase sales, and service customers. (i.e: CPT website, voicemail, email, dropbox, product catalog, marketing collateral, calendar functions, etc.) Checks email and voicemail and responds on a regular, consistent, and timely basis.

  • Keeps abreast of industry regulations and market trends and provides feedback to management. Provides customer/market feedback concerning acceptance and effectiveness of products and marketing and promotion programs.

Recommends new products and games based on market/customer demand. Escalates customer/product issues/concerns to management as appropriate.

  • Maintains company vehicle in safe and proper condition. Reports maintenance issues and performs routine maintenance checks as needed. Maintains neat, accurate, and customer and contact information.


TRAVEL AND WORK SCHEDULE: Position requires a work schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, or early morning hours, depending on the customers’ needs and availability. Must be responsive to customer calls during off-hours. Some overnight travel may be necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ related work experience

Desired Education & Experience:

  • Some post-high school education
  • Five years’ sales experience with proven success in achieving revenue/sales goals
  • Previous account relationship management experience
  • Experience in the BINGO or gaming industry
  • Experience working independently and with mobile computing technology

Physical/Other Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to obtain a Notary license within 60 days of hire
  • Must have ability to lift 70 lbs on an occasional basis to assist with ticket machine installation
