Route 1 Hyundai is looking to add a Sales Manager to our growing team!
Our leadership team is critical to the continued success for our team members and customers. Route 1 Hyundai is seeking an experienced Sales Manager that can provide guidance, support and motivation to ensure our team members are maximizing their sales abilities within our organization while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generate, follow-up and manage dealership sales leads
- Maintain exceptional customer service (CSI) while continuing to promote and demonstrate our dealership’s value, quality and integrity
- Resolve customer complaints diplomatically
- Assist the Management team in achieving profitability of the sales/finance departments
- Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts
- Train, mentor, support and monitor the performance of sales team members
- Identify coaching opportunities and provide constructive feedback with a measurable action plan
- Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the various dealership departments - F&I, accounting, service, and parts
- Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors and customers
- Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance
Job/Education Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- At least 2 years Automotive Management experience required at a franchised dealership
- A team player who is focused on providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience in maintaining the profitability of the sales department while controlling expenses and sustaining customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors
- Working knowledge of CDK, preferred but not required
- Able to have a flexible work schedule, including all holidays
