The Role:
Our Global APS (Advanced Planarization Solutions) Sales team is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator. The new hire in this role will be based remotely.
The new Sales Coordinator will build and manage the relationship between the customer and the Supply Chain (to include manufacturing, planning, distribution and logistics, sales, marketing, and credit). This process begins with collaborating with the sales on their forecasted requirements, managing the interactions with customer service through the placement of the customer’s order, and delivery of product through to billing.
What You'll Do:
- Be an internal advocate for APS sales excellence and retention by reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensures prompt resolution of any issues which may arise from the time the order is placed through the date on which final payment is received from the customer (the “order to cash cycle").
- Serve as the representative and primary contact between APS sales and internal functions.
- Create a new reporting structure to make all relevant information easily accessible
- Become familiar with the regional sales forecast, product needs, processes, and procedures
- Utilize available historical data, reports, and other resources to become and remain knowledgeable with respect to each assigned external customer contacts, purchasing policies, procedures and inventory management systems, applicable software, data and reporting systems, and other pertinent information in order to identify the most timely, efficient and cost-effective strategies for servicing the customer’s needs.
- Manage weekly collaboration calls with APS sales team to ensure customer demand is in line with forecast and all customer-related issues are resolved.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with key internal stakeholder
- Negotiate directly or indirectly with and on behalf of internal and external customers, to identify and implement creative solutions and resolve issues which negatively impact any aspect of the order to cash cycle.
- Potentially manage a small customer base to stay in touch with selling processes and use internally to connect, align, uncover, and negotiate.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years business-related work experience
- CSR or Supply chain management knowledge
- Product knowledge
- SAP knowledge and practical skills
- Very capable Microsoft EXCEL and PowerPoint user
- High level of responsiveness to inquiries, requests, requirements and suggestions
- Ability to make necessary business judgments as required
