Primary Responsibilities - Don't Skip These Over

• Provide excellent service to customers and effectively maintain merchandise standards
• Greet and assist each customer per company standards
• Provide efficient service at register check out
• Maintain product on sales floor and stockroom per company standards
• Assist in the receiving and processing of shipments
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Professional interaction with other store personnel, customers, mall personnel, and Corporate personnel
• Perform job related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Work opening and/or closing shifts - both are required

3. Knowledge and Skills - This Is What's Expected Of You

• REQUIRED - Ability to read and write English, *basic math skills* - you should be able to give back change and count a register
• PREFERRED - Knowledge of books and games
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and direction from management
• Ability to work with customers - make "customer connections" and create returning customers
• Ability to work with other Store Associates as a team
• Complete product inventory as assigned by Store Manager
• Manage time accordingly and appropriately
• Experience in cash handling and operating till reports
• Good organizational skills, ability to stay focused, quickly learn new responsibilities, display professional phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask

4. Physical Demands/Working Environment

• Walking, standing for long periods of time
• Must have flexible schedule
• Must be available weekends and evenings - We are part of Pocono Premium Outlets. This is not a Mon-Fri 9-5.
• Operate cash register
