SUMMARY: This role is designed to support the Safety program at the Cultivation Site. The role is primarily dayshift with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Responsible for adhering to and suggest improvements to the Plant Safety Management Systems.

· Auditing of SOPs and other policies for safety compliance.

· Adhering to the MMCC, Department of Agriculture and other regulatory requirements.

· Partner with Leadership in monitoring and implementation of Plant Safety programs.

· Partner with Plant Security for Emergency management systems.

· Track Plant chemical management systems.

· Conducts risk assessments to identify safety risks to reduce injuries and costs to the organization.

· Respond to and drive root cause for incident reporting.

· Execute Plant safety training.

· Assist the Regional HSE Manager with execution of Cultivation safety tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance.

Education and Experience:

Associates Degree (AA, AS) or two (2) years of equivalent job-related experience and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Other Qualifications:

· Preferred Lean and GMP experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
