Safety & General Administrative Coordinator
Job description
EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time Safety & General Administrative Coordinator in our Woods Cross (Salt Lake City) office.
This position is an administrative coordination role in support of the Corporate Safety Manager and local Branch Manager. The primary responsibility in this role is to serve as an administrative coordinator for all safety-related matters pertaining to field construction operations. Secondarily, this role will provide general administrative support for the Branch Manager and 10+ branch employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign new employee and recurring safety training.
- Assist with FTQ360/EHS Management system enrollment and use.
- Track and report training completing records and reminders.
- Prepare/ organize/ update site specific safety/emergency action plan basics (project details, maps, hospital routes, contacts, etc.)
- Coordinate program related meetings and events with managers and field staff.
- Schedule and track drug screening.
- Order PPE and project safety supplies/posters.
- Provide safety metrics and OSHA documents to clients.
- Coordinate the safety incentive program with field staff.
- Manage SharePoint/Teams safety content.
- Manage the daily mail correspondence, including all regulatory certified tracking and retention.
- Receive, file, and manage EHS related documentation.
- Assist department personnel with completing expense reports and coordinating travel.
- Provide general administrative duties in support of the EHS department (i.e. coordinate meetings, catering, order supplies, etc.)
Minimum Requirements: Associates degree in Business or other related field preferred, 2 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience. Safety and OSHA experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills a must. Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Access along with Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SharePoint and ftp protocol software. Must be detailed, organized and a team player. Successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background screening and is subject to EPC Services' auto insurance carrier requirements.
