Business Priorities:
- Kimberly-Clark’s Aurora Program is a significant upgrade that will move our legacy SAP systems to the SAP S/4 platform, providing connected capabilities for the functions as well as foster a business transformation with re-engineered end-to-end processes (standardization). Business functions in scope include Supply Chain, Finance, Global Business Services and Digital Technology Solutions. Aurora will entail a multi-year financial (CAPEX, OPEX) and talent investment. Strong risk management and governance will be critical for this program, focusing on project and change management. The Aurora PMO Deployment Lead will be a highly motivated, strategic, and influential role that will drive program success by partnering with all Aurora leaders on program’s strategic priorities, areas of focus and success metrics.
Role Accountabilities:
- This position takes work direction from the Aurora PMO Manager, Enabling Teams, working closely with the PMO Leadership and Global Aurora Core Team. The role will support PMO, business and functional leaders to develop actionable strategies that align with all Kimberly-Clark business goals:
- Serve as an advisor, communicator, integrator, and collaborator in driving the Aurora PMO priorities and transformation agenda.
- Lead deployment planning activities and deployment execution working with Primary/SI Partner and Organizational Readiness leads to confirm impacts are understood and communicated.
- Lead and manage the deployment phases planning and execution for Testing, Cutover and Hypercare.
- Ensure Executive Leadership alignment, commitment, and engagement throughout lifecycle of the deployment schedule.
- Coordinate milestone Stage Gate Reviews to ensure go-live readiness progression.
- Work with the Business, DTS and Enabling teams to develop staffing, contingency and business continuity plans.
- Coordinate and manage cutover activities, business continuity planning and execution.
- Identify, capture, and prioritize deployment issues and risks, escalate as necessary for resolution.
- Align with Enabling Teams to support delivery and deployment including development of Learning Content, Security Roles, Data Validation, Testing and Change Impacts.
- Lead or coordinate prioritized cross functional projects or operational initiatives on behalf of the PMO; assemble cross functional teams to drive critical outcomes.
- Support Aurora PMO Leadership, managing key stakeholder relationships & expectations across the Program, leveraging proper Communication & Risk Management techniques.
- Travel may be required.

- Experience in leading & driving at least 1 global SAP S4 transformation project as Deployment/PM lead.
- Strong knowledge & technical acumen (~at a high level) of the different key deployment/cutover areas i.e., environments prep; security roles; users access management, transports management, data loading, data validation, test scripts & test cases prep, overall test management.
- Hands on experience in SAP release management processes & industry leading tools (transport creation, transport pre-release validations, transport approvals, transport releases etc.).
- Understands & has extensive experience working with the agile development, DevOps, and continuous delivery principles in SAP landscape.
- Articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development .
- Demonstrated problem solving, facilitation and business acumen skills.
- Strong organizational design skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
- Comfortable diving into the technical details and rolling up sleeves to nimbly solve problems and manage issues with urgency.
Essential Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in financial, accounting, business management or technology field.
- Experience in leading complex projects locally, regionally, and globally.
- Agile, innovative, and critical thinker with a good digital foundation & thought leadership.
- Experience in managing stakeholders across functions and locations.
- Good understanding of K-C organization & strategy, service delivery footprint and signature capabilities.
- Understanding of applicable methodologies and program/project management capabilities and K-C Ways of Working.
