We are looking for 2 or more Rolling Mill Operators/Machine Operator for our Lake Zurich client! Do you have experience as a machine operator or are mechanically inclined. If so, take a look at this position!

$17.00 an hour up to $20.00 an hour, depending on shift and experience. We have 2nd and 3rd Shifts Openings!

Rolling Mill Operator/Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating 1 or more rolling mills at a time in a fast-paced environment
• Load wire and set up each stand of the mill
• Inspect the wire quality throughout each step of the process using testing equipment such as micrometers, hardness testers and shadowgraphs, and verify correct measurements
• Communicate effectively with their team across all shifts

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Pass required exam of basic math and English
• Preferred experience: reading 1 micrometer, previous mechanical experience (machine operating, automotive repairs, etc.)
