Job description

We seek Construction Laborers with valid MO Class E or KS Class C driver's licenses to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare roads for resurfacing by weed whacking, use of a blower, shovel, or rake
• Notify the public through door hangers of upcoming construction work in their area.
• Assist in placing, moving, and dismantling signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
• Assume the duties of "flagger" – stopping and directing traffic as needed when faced with interactions or zones requiring judgment and timing.
• Drive a pilot car depending on what is required to lead traffic through one-way zones.
• Perform various other tasks required in residential/main road/highway road preservation projects.
• Street sweeping vehicles and other items from worksite to worksite. (Qualified Drivers Only)

Requirements

• Able to travel as needed to job sites in Missouri, Kansas, and neighboring states
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to stay overnight for a week at a time, occasionally up to two
• Required Class E license (MO) or Class C license (KS)
• Must pass MVR Driving Record

• Weekly Pay
