Job Explanation:
The RN Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment and monitoring of patients in a hospital and/or nursing home setting. The Nurse is accountable for developing, implementing, evaluating and documenting patient care plans, while also ensuring patients are receiving the correct level of care. The RN Telemetry is responsible for interpreting patient data in light of their medical history and physical exam. A Registered Nurse must act in accordance with current laws, regulations, education standards and professional standards, including but not limited to those addressing privacy, infection control, workplace violence prevention, workplace safety and pharmacology.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a current knowledge of one or more specialties.
- Manage a caseload of clients in telemetry.
- Conduct physical exams of clients to determine the state of their health.
- Identify and provide treatment for clients with symptoms associated with their specialty.
- Communicate patient information to physicians, support staff, and other team members.
- Electronically document all treatments and procedures performed on patients to comply with regulatory requirements.

Salary: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
