Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele

Job Location: Charlotte 28203

Job Type: Contract

As a Registered Nurse (RN) working in a MedSurg/Tele unit, your primary responsibility will be to provide nursing care to patients who require acute medical care and monitoring. This includes patients who have a wide range of medical conditions and are in need of continuous telemetry monitoring.

Job Duties:

• Assessing patients' physical and mental health and monitoring their vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation. You will also be monitoring their response to treatments and medications.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Providing wound care to patients, including dressing changes and monitoring for any signs of infection.
• Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and any lifestyle changes that may be necessary.
• Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• RN License
• 2 years of critical Care/ Med/Surge experience

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days x 12 hrs

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $51.00 per hour
