Location: LSTC - Grafton, ND
Hiring Range: $27.09 - $36.12 per hour
Status: Temporary non-benefitted position
Work Area: Maplewood/Cedar Grove
Work shift: One weekend per month, 12-hour shifts, AM/PM shifts
As a Flex RN II, you will provide direct nursing service for people served with intellectual disabilities ranging from medically complex to dual diagnosed. Assuring health care needs/standards are met as well as working to provide training on promoting independence. This position will oversee and train medication technicians, provide acute assessments as well as ongoing comprehensive assessments for people served. Provide education to employees, people served, teams and family/guardians, and coordinate with a team of professionals to achieve best possible health outcomes. Assure quality nursing is provided in a home-like atmosphere with strong leadership, positive role modeling and great teamwork.
This position supervises RNs and LPNs who provide support for health needs of the people that reside at LSTC. Assure staff that are supervised maintain current licensure, screenings, interviews, hires and supervises new nursing staff. Completes annual performance reviews. Identifies and evaluates needs to assure nursing coverage is assigned to units appropriately and formulates schedules accordingly. Ensures adequate after hour staffing for assigned areas.
To be considered for this position, you are required to have a licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensure in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in North Dakota. North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment, and the employing agency will verify and document licensure upon appointment.
If unable to find qualified applicants, consideration will be given to fill as a Register Nurse I (3061), with a salary range of $21.10 - $28.13 per hour which requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensure in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in North Dakota. North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment, and the employing agency will verify and document licensure upon appointment.
