Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to help lead the healthcare team in Rockford, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in healthcare management. . In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies and procedures
• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of nursing staff
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Monitor patient care to ensure quality and compliance with standards of care
• Participate in quality improvement activities and initiatives
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Experience in a long term care setting
• A strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care, and federal and state regulations including reimbursement rules
• A measurable track record of survey success in State and Federal Surveys
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An enjoyment of mentoring and educating teams
