We are looking for an After hours RN to join our team.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team the Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing services to patients served by Hinds Hospice. The registered professional nurse receives direction and supervision from the Clinical Manager and/or designee. This position will take calls on evenings, weekends or holidays from patients and families and make home visits as appropriate, attending to After Hours needs for our patients and families/Caregivers. Visits may include but are not limited to: Admission visits, Comprehensive visits, PRN visits, Imminent Death visits, Death visits, and Tuck-in Visits.


  • Completed a professional nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing (prefer completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing).
  • One year experience in acute care facility or community health agency, (hospice experience required)1:
  • Current RN Licensure and CPR Certification.
  • Valid drivers license, auto insurance, reliable transportation and a willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e., Push, Pull, Lift/Carry 35 lbs.)
