Vaco has partnered with a growing food and beverage company in the Surprise/Waddell area in the West Valley seeking an experienced Risk, Insurance and Compliance Specialist to team with risk and other partners. This is a brand new role that will need to be able to develop new processes on how to handle claims and will work with safety managers internally & external insurance brokers.

- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience
- Must have worked at a company with no less than 400+ employees
- Must have a strong workers compensation and corporate insurance issues
- Experience handling the following:
- Workers comp, expat insurance, visitor insurance, ISO Audit
- Optimization projects in regard to insurance topics, Loss optimization and control
- Security, plan and execute yearly insurance tours
- Plan and execute internal Audits, developing a standard of work
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Audit daily reports from internal and external sources to maintain an accurate database of information
- Work closely with Operations team and Logistics Management to ensure lines of communication are open
- Inform operations management team and leads on insurance protocol policy changes as needed
- Effectively communicate with insurance agents during daily insurance vetting process
- Gather information from insurance companies and update SOPs and insurance notes as needed
- Providing requested Insurance Quotes for order and purchasing details needed by operations
- Research adhoc insurance related questions and projects for company as needed
- Become knowledgeable on insurance companies and policy types
- Process and complete weekly department expense reports pertaining to insurance purchases
