Overview:
The purpose of this job is to assist in the support, development, and administration of systems used or managed by the Retail Banking/Corporate Treasury Services division of the bank. This position will also be involved in working on or managing system-related projects, development of procedures and training, and related activities to support the Retail Banking division and other day-to-day bank functions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine administrative functions and associated responsibilities for retail systems (i.e. new accounts, teller, customer systems, cash management services); coordinate updates/enhancements to systems
- Work closely with vendors, IT and other associates in the software design and development process, including identifying and documenting business requirements, testing, tracking defects, reporting, change control, and other tasks as necessary
- Promptly review, research, and respond to end-user system issues; maintain systems issue log; escalate and report issues as appropriate; recommend changes to systems or procedures from identified issues
- Assist in the development or update of procedures, guidelines, training materials, or other resources, specifically those related to the use of retail systems
- Grant and maintain appropriate end-user access to systems according to established framework or policies; obtain approval and document exceptions; conduct ongoing user access reviews and provide reporting when needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Four-year college degree with 3+ years of retail banking or systems related work experience; retail banking experience must include 3 or more years of new accounts, loans, and/or branch management

7+ years of retail banking or systems related work experience; retail banking experience must include 3 or more years of new accounts, loans, and/or branch management- Advanced knowledge of retail banking and teller functions and workflows (deposit account opening/maintenance, loans, transaction processing)
- Advanced knowledge of retail products and services offered to customers
- General knowledge of cash management services offered to business customers and related workflows
- General knowledge of the software development lifecycle; ability to communicate and understand technical and logical reasoning concepts
- Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills
- Knowledge and application of basic math and accounting concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, including demonstrating empathy
- Ability to document business processes
- Ability to perform routine check and balance reconciliation and thorough data validation
- Detail oriented but flexible to handle concurrent tasks/projects and fluctuating requirements
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
- Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Trustmark platform systems experience preferred
- Knowledge of change management processes and workflow analysis preferred
