Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate

We are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team and drive sales by creating amazing customer experiences every day. You must be interested in British and European culture and products, with a willingness to learn even more. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to make customers feel welcome. Whether through phone, email or in person interactions.

You will help identify customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. The sucessful candidate will keep the store neat, clean and organized. The schedule is typically shifts between 9:45am – 5:15 pm. Weekday and weekend shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities:
* Be authentic, aware and respond to customer cues. Greet, engage, and answer customers questions and offer suggestions about specific products.
* Ensure all items are fully stocked daily.
* Process all sales and orders coming in from phone, online ordering, email and traffic in store.
* Stay up-to-date with new product information.
* Use computer for inventory management.

* Proven work experience in customer service as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role.
* Demonstrates great customer services skills and a consistent positive attitude.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and have situational awareness of when your help is needed in certain situations.
* Comfort with computers, data entry and attention to detail

* Basic math skills.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building customer relationships over the phone, online, and in person.
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, including multi-tasking. Must be able to follow through on tasks.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, with weekend shifts required ( at least one weekend day per week.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
