The Retail Manager is accountable for the identification of process and product improvements throughout the store. This includes but is not limited to the overall performance and profitability of the store, store operations, merchandising standards, invoicing, receiving, and ordering.
In addition to store operations, the Retail Manager will have a critical role in the further development and launch of our private label products which consist of natural chews, single ingredient treats and our full line of locally made fresh dog food. They will help finalize packaging, distribution model, product launch (June '23) and marketing.
Must have reliable transportation. Some, fully compensated, delivery trips are required.

Essential Store Functions/Improvements:
- Manage all backend operations and inventory
- Leverage inventory management system to continually order and receive necessary products
- Manage delivery calendar and ensures orders are properly fulfilled
- Maintain company visual standards
- Create and manage retail marketing programs to support store initiatives
- Protects company assets
- Oversee the store’s inventories of supplies and product
- Order product and supplies to keep store stocked
- Handle escalated customer complaints or issues
- Implement, review and improve all store policies, procedures and service standards
- Create work schedules for the staff
- Adhere to company dress code policy
- Delegate daily operational duties
- Enforce and follow all company policies, procedures, guidelines and programs
- Support private label order fulfillment
- Ensure work environment is safe and clean at all times
- Ensure all retail sales associates have the knowledge, skills and materials to answer customers’ inquiries, request of orders, and/or resolve problems quickly and effectively
- Ensure all customers are being serviced correctly and given high priority
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Process and Product Improvement
- Retail Management experience
- Proven leadership experience, ability to develop and motivate a team
- Able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates
- Communicates well and effectively in a one-on-one setting and in a group setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
