Our growing housing program is seeking a Residential Coordinator to develop and oversee a positive living environment for students. Candidates should be patient, thoughtful and hard working. A successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people in a professional manner.
It is the role of the Program Coordinator to assist, support, and guide staff with implementing their skills for working with residents as related to the Residents Person Centered Plan (PCP), or any other related plan. It is the responsibility of the Program Coordinator to coordinate the residential program in all aspects from staff supervision and training of implementation of support to residents. The Program Coordinator also keeps communication open to consumer team members and other personal and natural supports.
· Responsibility of daily management and function of residential home(s).
· Have flexibility with schedule, able to self-direct work load to complete on time
· Ensuring the homes are healthy, clean and safe while implementing, following and sustaining all updated regulations (HCBS, Maine Care, Assistive Living, Fire Marshal and MVRA Policies and Procedures) and ensuring that any new regulations are implemented
· Implementing, overseeing, selecting team members and being part of rotation of on-call services for the residential homes
· Represent as a professional and a leader and always follow all MVRA policies and procedures, while effectively leading staff as a team. Providing supervision and conducting productive staff meetings.
· Responsible to work as a team with Office Manager and Compliance Specialists regarding staffing needs, interviewing, hiring eligible staff, completing annual evaluations, and ensuring staff accountability
· Coordinate staff schedules, arrange with team staff coverage for vacations and trainings, ensure Paychex clock-ins are completed daily, W2W is completed at least weekly and ensuring residential staffing patterns are met weekly, case notes are completed daily, sign off on mileage / expense forms and review communication logs consistently
· Manage financial decisions of home expenses and management of house vehicle including assuring resident’s rent is paid in full monthly.
· Coordinate with primary staff all resident appointments, schedules, transportation, medication management and all other resident needs.
· Attend Person Centered Plan meetings as well as all other team meetings as requested
· Coordination, development and assuring implementation of resident’s home and community activity calendar
· Ensure collaboration and ongoing contact with all case managers, guardians, medical care services and any other tera member associated with residents regarding changes in services, resident needs, resident progress and behavioral issues.
· Follow up with all processes of OADS incident reporting and MVRA internal incident reporting
· Enter information as necessary into EIS and KEPRO/Atrezzo and follow up with completion of individual service plan.
· Tracking case notes and all other required documentation regarding residents to ensure state compliance.
· Interviewing and selecting residents that are compatible to current residents and ensuring beds are full
