Hacienda CDC is hiring a new Resident Services Coordinator to support our brand new affordable housing community, Las Flores in Oregon City. Our Resident Services Coordinator will work at our Las Flores community daily to bridge the gap between property management and residents, reducing barriers to stable housing while increasing the social capital of our communities and supporting the mission of Hacienda CDC.
There are many opportunities to make this job your own as we continue to grow our Resident Services Team within our Youth and Family Services Department. The Resident Services Coordinator is a full-time, in-person role eligible for our complete benefits package (below), including our 4-Day Workweek, and reports to our Resident Services Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on-site daily to conduct new tenant orientations, introducing Hacienda CDC and its programs
- Identify resident challenges; provide links to resources that will assist residents with continued housing
- Mediate conflicts that arise with other residents or property managers
- Gather community input from residents to maintain communications and identify community concerns
- Collaborate with partners to provide educational workshops on topics such as energy savings, financial capabilities, housekeeping, safety, and other needs of tenants
- Coordinate and host community events and celebrations independently and with partners
- Initiate and maintain relationships with community partners
- Conduct outreach to recruit and coordinate residents for input and feedback on neighborhood initiatives, housing developments, and other projects
- Maintain resident services database and produce required reports in an accurate and timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum three years of experience in community organizing or case management is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required (i.e., Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience)
- Bilingual Spanish/English; ability to write, read and speak clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Background in social work is desirable
- Possesses a genuine passion for community building
- Must be highly self-motivated while working independently
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in person daily and be adaptable to a flexible work schedule
- Express compassion and empathy for the concerns of residents, Hacienda CDC staff, and community members
- Ability to work as a team member, establish priorities, effectively prioritize tasks, remain non-judgmental, and show a willingness to learn new skills through formal and informal education
- Capacity to develop professional relationships with partners and community leaders
- Willingness to learn housing rules and regulations such as Fair Housing, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and reasonable accommodation
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work with diverse populations and identify needs
- Embrace the inclusiveness of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic perspectives

COMPENSATION:
- Pay Rate is $19.50-21 per hour, depending on experience
- Eligible for up to an additional 3% bilingual premium after 90 days

PAY:
The salary and wage ranges that Hacienda advertises for the position, mean that the starting pay offered to the candidate will fall somewhere within the range posted. We recognize that each candidate brings with them a unique combination of experiences, education, skills and abilities, therefore the offer will be tailored to the individual.
A bilingual Spanish premium of up to 3% is available after 90 days upon successful completion of a language assessment. (According to policy, even if language is not required or preferred, a person can get a 1% increase).
