The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc is seeking two (2) qualified candidates to fill a 10-20 hour/week Research Technician position doing data analysis in the Mental Health Data Science division working directly under the supervision of faculty in Mental Health Data Science on NIH research projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Statistical analysis of clinical, epidemiological, and biological data on NIH funded research projects.
  • The position will include planning and performing statistical analyses and writing reports for various externally funded research projects.
  • The position will also include preparing tables with results and drafting final statistical methods and results sections for peer-reviewed journal publications.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 6 months of training in statistics, biostatistics, biomedical engineering, mathematics, and another related quantitative field,
  • 6 months of experience in basic statistical and programming skills using one of the following software's: R/Python/Matlab,
  • 6 months of experience in basic statistical and programming skills using one of the following image processing software's: EEGlab/fMRIPrep.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
