The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill two (2) part-time Research Support Assistant III positions.

The chosen candidates will work in a grant-funded behavioral pharmacology cannabis research laboratory will be responsible for observing and recording research participants' activities in a residential cannabis laboratory; start date is immediate. A one-year commitment is required.

Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work without continuous supervision are critical components of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Research Support Assistant III will use computers to record participants' behaviors, communicate with participants, and record/manage data. Incumbent will assist in operational activities, participant phone screening, data collection, transfer and entry, regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA), petty cash and credit card handling, vitals measurement (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, carbon monoxide, breathalyzer), food handling, and inventory maintenance. Research Assistants will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigators of the Cannabis Research Laboratory.

The hours for this position are as follows:

Evenings (3:30-11:30pm), overnights (11:30pm-7am) weekends (daytime/evening). May include occasional weekday hours (Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm). Approximately 20 hours per week, but may vary depending on study enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years of college. Flexible availability required.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
