Summary:
Under general supervision of the Operations Manager and in accordance with established policies and procedures responsible for the supervision of the operation of Project including recruitment implementation programs processes and outcome evaluation of the project. Liaison with national cooperative working group as required.

Responsibilities:
Assists the Principal Investigator and co-investigator in the Department with protocols intervention plans and recruitment.

Hires trains schedules conducts periodic performance evaluations provides guidance and counsels to assistants and other designated staff to endure high quality recruitment and related data gathering.

Monitors weekly and/or monthly reports regarding data quality and timeliness. Addresses deficiencies as needed.

Maintains quality assurance safety environmental and infection control in accordance with established hospital department policies and objectives.

Supervises Temporary Project Hires Clinical Research Assistants and Senior Clinical Research Assistants. Distributes work as needed using workflow assessment tools. Provides direct support as needed.

Assesses modifies and establishes new CRA and Senior CRA related SOPs as needed.

Other information:
BBASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelors degree and masters degree required. Knowledge of research grants administration and current reporting requirements.

EXPERIENCE:
Three years of related experience. Experience above the minimum required may substitute for the education requirements on a one-to-one basis.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Provides direct supervision for up to 15 full-time equivalent personnel assigned to the project.

While most duties are performed in an office environment incumbent is exposed to patient-care environment.

Any risk of exposure to contagious or noxious elements is minimized by adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
