The products we made have already been applied in advancing a scientific breakthrough discovery, improving a diagnostic assay to detect the next pandemic quicker and earlier, and identifying a solution for curing a rare genetic disease.

We are looking for a candidate who shares our vision and would like to make an impact on science and people’s health. The Chemist will perform small to middle scale oligo synthesis in a high throughput, fast paced, and time sensitive environment utilizing state-of-art equipment.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Assist the synthesis of oligonucleotide, its small molecule, peptide, or protein conjugates in milligram to gram scale.
• HPLC purification and downstream oligonucleotide processing
• Perform LC-MS analysis of in-process and final product
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment used in manufacturing.
• Maintain batch records, equipment logs and other production records as directed per company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly Production environment in compliance with safety regulations and internal guideline

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or other scientific field
• Prior laboratory experience preferred
• Hands on experience with HPLC, MS is a plus
• Prior experience on oligo synthesis and/analysis is a plus
• Self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
