Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Performs assays and lab procedures related to nucleic acid isolation, gene expression, and spatial biology according to SOPs using appropriate laboratory techniques.- Maintains laboratory notebooks, records data and information in computer databases.
- Assists senior lab personnel with new product development, including development and validation of new assay methodologies.
- Helps manage, monitor, and maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies as needed. This will include routine handling and lifting of laboratory supplies and bench-top equipment.
- Works in a professional and collaborative manner with coworkers and customers
- Provides operational support for testing activities including reagent preparation and ordering supplies.
- Works on routine assignments as well as other assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years lab experience is desirable.
- Experience with bioinformatics, computational biology, or working with large data sets is a plus.
- Proficient in standard molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extractions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong attention to detail
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $62,430 and $131,900 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
Bruker is a federal contractor and subject to Executive Order 14042.
