Rauland Corporation is looking for a talented and passionate Requirements Engineer who wants to make an impact in the medical & educational space. You can help the development teams make a real difference in innovating, designing, and developing cutting-edge products that delight customers that they use as part of their daily operations. This is a highly visible position of influence that is expected to improve customer satisfaction, R & D return on investment, time to market, and scheduling accuracy while increasing skills and joy for you and the teams

What You'll Do:

• Translate business, client, and end user requirements into a consumable form for the developers and the test team.
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents.
• Work closely with product management, scrum master, development engineers, and validation team members to establish these requirements and to achieve better outcomes.
• Assist product managers and engineers in converting roadmap items into user stories.
• Collaborate with a cross functional team to draft requirements, acceptance criteria and review test cases.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements for completeness, correctness, and other requirement development best practices.
• Manage the development and traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with our quality team to maintain requirement documents in the design history file throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of professional experience and education
• 5+ years of working experience as a technical requirements engineer/analyst within a fast-paced agile software development environment.
• Experience working in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools.

• Enterprise-class software requirements development for on-premises or cloud hosted applications
• Mobile application requirements development
• Embedded systems requirements development
• Jama and / or Azure Devops
• Medical device or healthcare IT industry regulated by FDA
