Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in the operating room to join our team in Laurel, DE. As a Registered Nurse - Operating Room, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and providing quality patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist surgeons during surgeries and procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and anesthesia
- Monitor patients during surgery and throughout the recovery process
- Document patient care and progress in medical records
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding care and recovery
- Ensure operating rooms are clean and sterilized for each procedure
- Teach patients about required post-operative care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in state of Delaware
- Experience in the operating room preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Benefits – Health Insurance is available to team members on the first of the month after completing 30 days of employment all other benefits start on the first of the month after completing 90 days of employment.
