Our medical industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Registered Nurse (NICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to newborns and their families. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will work in an inpatient, acute care setting, providing critical care to neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to neonatal patients in the NICU
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients for changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in the state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient, acute care setting
• NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
