Position Overview

We are in need of an experienced RN to join our team! This is a PRN position working 1-2 shifts per week (nights) or as needed!

Responsibilities

• Performing assessments, developing a plan of care, implementing and evaluating the care
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with the current clinical nursing practice
• Responsible for directing, monitoring and evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel
• Works collaboratively with the other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care
• Performs a range of technical services in a cross-functional mode to comprehensively serve patient needs
• Assumes, under the direction of the laboratory, responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
• AHA Certification in ACLS preferably within three months of hire
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
