Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Oregon

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team in Oregon. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. The RN will work closely with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and efficient care for patients who require immediate medical attention.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room
• Provide direct nursing care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions or injuries
• Utilize critical thinking skills to develop and implement appropriate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and home care needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency situations and intervene as necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Oregon
• Minimum of 1-year experience in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency procedures
