A renowned healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Day Surgery Pre-Op/Post-Op Unit. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document the care provided and the patient’s progress toward the desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
• Active RN license.
• 1+ years of clinical experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• The department is open 530a-7p; the shifts are 9 hours long and staggered throughout the day.
• Pay; $32-52/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
