UNIT SUMMARY: The Inpatient Pediatric Unit is a 20 bed unit; self-scheduling with oversight of scheduling committee, cross-training in PICU and NICU/SCN.
JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
- Requires knowledge of a specialized field
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
- At least 1 year of Inpatient Peds experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, registered to practice in Maryland
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- Oncology certification within 1 year of hire
