Job Description:

SCL Health Medical Group Bariatric Clinic is part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. With locations throughout Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, we offer a wide variety of primary and specialty care services.

Facilitates the nutrition care process in order to provide the patient with optimal medical nutrition therapy.

Job Description:

As a Clinic Dietitian you need to know how to:

• Counsel and instruct outpatients and/or families providing written instruction materials
• Evaluate and document patient and/or caregiver understanding of diet based on behavioral objectives.
• Evaluate, interpret and use pertinent current research relating to nutrition in order to develop and revise education materials and teaching outlines.
• Respond to telephone requests/referrals, sending information as appropriate.
• Participate in programs and education for staff, patients and community.
• Document patient visits and bills patients for services according to established policy and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree with dietetic internship or equivalent
• Current registration with the ADA Commission or Dietitian Registration
• Current nutrition license with the state of practice State Board of Medical Examiners as well as the ability to be licensed in all states where services are provided
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire (with prior approval)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$24.26 - $43.11
