Sealy Kids Dentistry, located in Sealy, TX, just 20 minutes west of Katy, TX, is searching for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist, Monday through Thursday, and 1 Friday per month. At Sealy Kids Dentistry, we know that every child is unique, which is why we have all the tools and training to ensure that each has a positive experience in the dentist's chair. Our doctors and team love working with and helping children of all ages.
Our office features a fun playroom filled with toys and games, TVs for patients to watch in the dental chair, and even a comfy place for adults to relax! Many of our patients love our office so much, they want to stay and play even after their appointment is finished! We are a fast-paced office with a healthy load of patients daily. To ensure top-not patient care, we are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist comfortable with the following:
- Working with kids and young adults
- Capturing diagnostic radiographs
- Capturing IO Photos
- Assessing caries risk and providing preventive recommendations
- Educating patients about proper oral hygiene
- Identifying malocclusion and educating kids and parents about the potential impact on dental health
- Providing dental prophylaxis and fluoride applications
- Placing Sealants
- Partnering with the Dentist to identify treatment needs and present treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred
- Prior experience working in Pedo is required
- Active TX Dental Hygiene License
- CPR-BLS Certified
- Denticon experience is a plus~
- Flexibility and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Experience with Medicaid would be beneficial
