Rio Vista Dentistry, a private dental practice dedicated to excellence in patient care and service, is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Our ideal Registered Dental Hygienist…
- Has a confident, warm, inviting personality
- Effectively conveys the urgency and value of dental hygiene care
- Clearly educates patients about the connection between dental hygiene and overall health
- Is kind but clear with patients to maintain consistent, productive hygiene schedule
- Take x-rays of patients' teeth
- Cleans, scales, and polishes teeth
- Apply preventive dental care treatments to surface tissues and exposed surfaces of teeth and applies and administers local anesthetic agents as needed
- Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment
- Communicates concisely and clearly (written and verbal)
- Prioritizes professionalism and service
- Promotes an exceptional patient experience
- Fosters a positive rapport with doctors, patients, staff, community
- Adapts effectively to change (welcomes opportunities to grow and improve)
- Actively contributes to the success of the team
- Has a working understanding of clinical dentistry
