WestRock is looking for a progressive, creative, high-energy Regional Recruiter to support Hourly Recruiting for our Production / Manufacturing facilities. This role is right for you if you want to be challenged to define, develop and foster the robust talent pipelines that will continue to fuel WestRock’s growth. You’ll be a Strategic Business Partner, Brand Ambassador, and Recruiting Leader all rolled into one!

The Regional Recruiter will support hourly recruiting across our business including but not limited to: Corrugated Container, Multi-Packaging Solutions, Merchandising & Display and Mills. You will work directly with hiring managers, applicants, & human resources. The Regional Recruiter will achieve recruiting objectives by sourcing and evaluating passive and active job seekers; managing the interview, debrief, & offer process. You will also be responsible for advising hiring managers of recruiting compliance and best practices.


Position Responsibilities

  • Recruit the best talent in the assigned territory or business function by managing the full cycle recruiting process
  • Develop recruiting strategies based on current business needs and projected workforce planning
  • Demonstrate credibility with business partners as a Subject Matter Expert by presenting information about the talent marketplace and trends
  • Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies, including referral generation, position postings, direct sourcing, traditional media sources, networking, government organizations, and job fairs
  • Engage, screen, assess and submit qualified candidates based on strategic discussion with business partners
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Facilitate interview process and discussions with business partners to influence best hiring practices
  • Track candidates through the process to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Implement recruiting strategies to identify qualified and diverse candidate pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with EEO and federal/state regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work history
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Minimum one year of recruiting experience
  • Working proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior staffing/recruiting agency experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Corporate or third-party recruiting experience in a similar product line or a related manufacturing business
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
