SUMMARY:
The DMO will utilize the dish machine to provide clean and sanitized food prep and service items to guests and employees in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Properly store and stock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware from dish machine.
- Maintain proper temperatures and chemicals while running the dish machine.
- Stock serving stations with plates and utensils.
- Properly clean and sanitize work area during and after shift.
- Remove garbage and clean garbage cans as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors and coolers as directed by supervisor.
- Remove cardboard as needed from kitchen area.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prior restaurant experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of proper kitchen sanitation preferred.
