Recruiting Manager

Status: Exempt

Summary

The Recruiting Manager manages all aspects of talent acquisition. This role will oversee our staffing, internal internship program, recruiting processes that include but are not limited to: sourcing, scheduling, screening, and interviewing candidates, facilitating salary negotiations, providing weekly metrics, and partnering with the HR Business Partners to ensure smooth onboarding.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions

  • Manage the full talent acquisition recruiting lifecycle to include: sourcing, scheduling, screening, and interviewing candidates across multiple departments.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines for all positions using our ATS, JobVite;
  • Partner with VP of People & Culture to understand what is in the pipe from the at the leadership level (Staffing Committee) to better forecast future hiring demands.
  • Manage weekly recruitment reporting process. Develop, track, and analyze critical hiring statistics, hiring trends, and results for continuous improvement of strategies and processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers and partners to implement and execute effective sourcing strategies to recruit diverse top industry talent.
  • Build confidence and credibility with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Demonstrate a proactive high-touch customer service model, meeting face-to-face with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Provide consistent results in a metrics-driven, high performance culture.
  • Deliver interview training and manager coaching on hiring best practices.
  • Partner with the VP of People & Culture to build out the recruiting function from a strategic and long-term perspective.
  • Develop innovative and creative media content across social media platforms and ensure that social media activities are aligned with talent acquisition strategy.
  • Maximize sourcing channels, networks, social media, university relations, diversity pools, military talent pools, etc.
  • Maintain and track all social media platforms used for recruiting to ensure maximum visibility and brand recognition.
  • Utilize and manage diversity recruiting contacts at the university level and beyond in an effort to intentionally hire diversified talent.
  • Manage use of external staffing resources to ensure we don’t exceed budget.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience recruiting professional-level candidates.
  • Advertising, creative, and technology industry experience required.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting required.
  • Experience managing a full-cycle recruiting function.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Demonstrated track record of success sourcing passive and diverse candidates.
  • Experience in developing and delivering high-quality, consumable, and consistent metrics to hiring managers and executive teams.
  • Skilled in behavioral interviewing techniques and a strong working knowledge of the advertising and technology industries; strong ability to attract passive candidates.
  • Interest in and experience with making diversity a strong focus in recruiting.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers; strong follow-up skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and demonstrated results using recruitment technology (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems, Twitter, Snapchat, Google); experience with Jobvite strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to successfully partner with members of other functional teams.
  • Excellent follow through, judgment, and common sense. "Make it happen" attitude.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience working in resource-lean, and fast-growth environments strongly preferred.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.
