Senior HR Generalist

Netcom Technologies' focus on customer service has created year-over-year growth for the last 34 years and we are seeking a take-charge HR Generalist to help us continue growing into the future of Telecom.

Your ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and work calmly under the pressure of deadlines will help you easily shift focus as necessary to manage the full recruiting process, develop training programs for all levels of staff, manage staff evaluations and career development programs, help with retention through employee recognition programs and creative team building activities, and complete the standardized processes for all aspects of the HR Department.

Some standard duties will include:

- Creating and maintaining a large talent pool of your own while working professionally with recruiters and subcontractor agencies to ensure fluctuating staffing needs are met in a timely manner

- Ensuring proper credentialling of both subcontractors and permanent staff for access to secure sites

- Working closely with all levels of management to determine future staffing needs

- Onboarding new employees, explaining the value of all benefit programs, and conducting enrollment and open enrollment

- Administering all benefits programs

- Working with management and staff to develop a career path for each employee while managing the training needed for safety, staff development, and contract requirements

- Addressing workplace conduct issues and designing performance improvement plans

- Maintaining regular contact with staff, receiving continuous feedback, and developing solutions as needed to facilitate high retention levels

- Participating in staff evaluations

- Designing and organizing team building activities

- Processing offboarding and backfilling for staff who are promoted to new positions

You bring to the table a minimum of 5 years experience in the core competencies of HR with demonstrated success in accomplishing the efforts described above; professionalism in both manner and appearance; proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products; the ability to work calmly under the pressure of deadlines and to adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude; effective oral and written communication skills; a high level of customer service orientation for both internal and external stakeholders; and the ability to be self-motivated, proactive and a team player. Preference will be given to those who have achieved PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
