This position is responsible to coordinate and administer site or office recruiting activities throughout the 5 state area (MN, ND, SD, NE, IA).Minimum Qualifications: As a successful recruiter you will have:
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Minimum 5 years Human Resource experience (recruiting, DEI, job advertising preferred)
Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook; and HRIS

Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background check.Duties & Responsiblities1. Work with management throughout the North Central Region to identify and prioritize recruitment needs
2. Develop and maintain recruitment processes and record DEI outreach efforts
3. Participate in job fairs and hiring events in the communities within our region
4. Seek out and participate in school (College/University, Tech college, High school, Middle school) events to attract students to Knife River
5. Develop and/or maintain partnerships with organizations for recruiting employees
6. Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline, including internal candidates
7. Participate in developing/enhancing existing internal training programs, developing new programs, streamlining orientation and other initiatives for retention and employee development
8. Knowledge of general recruiting principles and relevant social media platforms to recommend and coordinate recruitment and recruitment advertising methods
9. Reviews data/trends and makes recommendations to reduce absenteeism and turnover
10. Develop recruitment/retention budget
11. Track effectiveness of recruitment efforts
12. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
13. Willing and able to travel through the 5 state region (MN, ND, SD, IA, NE) – may be substantial amount of travel
14. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
15. Participate in regional HR calls and initiatives
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
