Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the planning, promotion, and supervision of the tennis program and the youth summer recreation program including the possibility of special events such as field trips. Essential Duties
Organize, promote, supervise, and conduct diversified recreational and educational activities of the summer recreation program.

Organize, promote, and supervise the summer tennis program.
Assist the Recreation and Aquatics Program Manager in preparation of budget, supporting materials, and work program for areas assigned.
Under general administrative supervision, assist in or conduct special studies, experiments, and projects to enrich or evaluate the department"s program.
Assist in marketing and communication of the recreation program to the public.
Work with staff, other organizations, businesses, and volunteers to conduct various activities and generate support for the program.
Attend meetings, including board and community meetings, as directed.
Maintain accurate records of revenue for the tennis program.
Assist in the registration process for the tennis program.
Maintain daily logs of the summer recreation program including attendance, activities, and any incidents that may have occurred.
Prepare end of the season report including revenue, level of participation, suggestions for the following season.
Maintain accurate records of expenditures throughout the season.
Complete staff training and personnel paperwork.
Conduct weekly staff meetings.
Organize and inventory program supplies and materials. Work Schedule

Hours of work: Varies License and/or Certificate Requirements
CPR and First Aid Certification must be completed within two weeks of hire (training/certification will be provided by the City.) Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Training):
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills,
and abilities would be qualifying.

Experience:
Two years developing, planning, promoting, and supervising recreational and/or athletic programs.

Training:
