Receptionist/Intake Coordinator

Buckeye Home Medical is a Durable Medical Equipment Company seeking an energetic, hard-working, individual for a full time Intake Coordinator position. We have 11 locations across middle Tennessee and Kentucky employing over 140 people across all stores.

We are seeking a Receptionist/Intake Coordinator to join our team at our company located in Cookeville, TN. Our front desk “Intake” positions are the face of our Company and expected to be friendly and compassionate following our philosophy of “patient first.” The company culture if one of a team-oriented environment that fosters individual growth, development, and career advancement. What we need from you:

• Answer incoming calls from our patients and our referral sources.
• Greet customers coming into the building as needed.
• Verify insurance which includes calling insurance companies to verify coverage for the item receiving.
• Collect and process co-pays as required.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required (some college preferred).
• Data Entry and computer skills are important for entering the correct data into the computer.
• Excellent communication skills and active listening skills are a must in order to provide excellent customer service to our patients.
• Self-starter with time management skills.

Selected applicants must pass a background check, drug screening, provide proof of automobile insurance before joining our team.
