Purpose of position
Under general supervision, perform day to day receptionist duties including operating and answering a multi-line telephone system, servicing incoming calls and providing general information to callers; as well as greeting visitors and completing various general office duties and tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each
employee in the job title:
- Operate a multi-line switchboard in order to answer, screen and transfer incoming calls
- Be a front desk presence, providing direction to visitors and others
- General office duties and tasks as needed on a daily basis
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent- Excellent organizational and clerical skills, as well as detail oriented
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Professional customer service techniques
- Able to multi-task
- Punctual with strong attendance history
- 10-key experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
