Express Employment Northland is seeking to fill a Receiving Clerk position in North Kansas City, MO. Desirable candidates can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, are highly organized and hard working.

**Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm**

Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage receiving based on shift capacities to determine receiving abilities and schedule trucking companies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Establish pick up appointments for carriers and follow up with carriers via email and/or phone.
• Communication with customer service related to the status or changes on outbound shipments.
• Maintain open communications with management to maximize shipments and minimize problems.
• Monitors Open Order Report to ensure completion of orders.
• Handle data via SAP to analyze, report and manipulate data within MS Excel.
• Assist with delivery appointments.
• Assist with creating vendor discrepancies &/or receiving documents.
• Assist with monthly safety meetings and facility walks and documentation.
• Cross train for warehouse office duties and positions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous logistics experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
